A MODICUM OF COMPOSURE – SMASH PALE – 4.6% ABV
A MODICUM OF COMPOSURE was yet another collaboration beer brewed with Berwick’s BEAR CLAW BREWERY. This time to celebrate the birthday of a living legend and friend to both breweries Two Gallon Bob. Bob is a friend of all drinkers and patron of many pubs and breweries across Yorkshire & the North East. This beer which a long time in the planning having been conceived to be brewed for the 2022 Berwick Food and Beer Fest but in the end brewed for the 2022 edition of the festival – the first for 3 years.
The beer won the 2022 CHAMPION BEER OF BERWICK BEER FESTIVAL.
A Modicum of Composure was a Single Malt & Single Hop (SMASH) Pale ale with a fruit kick. Made with Golden Promise malt & a new hope variety CF185.
