Ginger Bread Beer made in collaboration with the Northern Soul Kitchen in Berwick, using unsold bread to #FeedBelliesNotBins

1 million loaves of bread are wasted in the UK every day. Northern Soul Kitchen in Berwick saves unsold food from heading to landfill – bread being the most common culprit. They save it and serve meals with it in their cafe. Diners at the cafe then pay a donation meaning food is accessible for EVERYONE. This delicious beer was a community collaboration to spread the anti-waste message and puts the value back into perfectly edible grub.

Made with Bread as part of the malt bill and lots of Root Ginger.
