Cheviot Brewery is a micro brewery on the Ford & Etal Estate in North Northumberland producing traditional cask and bottled ale. Offering brewery tours and tastings at our Cheviot Tap onsite tap bar and soon to offer an onsite glamping experience.
Brewing with the best ingredients and creating ales inspired by the history and landscape of North Northumberland.
Our onsite tap bar is the hub of events at the brewery and possibly the best place to sample our cask ales – especially with a stonebaked pizza freshly prepared and cooked on site.
Fridays – Open 12-10 / Pizza 5-8
Saturdays – Open 12-10 / Pizza 5-8
Sundays – Open 12-8 / No Pizzas – bar snacks available
Please email email@example.com to book a table.
Just down the road in the historic village of Etal stands Northumberland’s only thatched pub, The Black Bull Inn. Managed by Cheviot Brewery it also fights for the claim to be the best place to enjoy our cask ales. Paired with a fantastic meal prepared by our chef, it may well be.

Opening in Summer 2021 Cheviot Glamping will offer a luxury camping experience to visitors that combines joy of camping with the comforts of home.
In 2021 accommodation options will include include bell tents, which sleep up to 4, and bespoke designed glamping pods made from up-cycled shipping containers, that feature a double bunk and en-suite shower, perfect for families.
This small site is located besides the brewery’s onsite tap bar, Cheviot Tap, which after opening in Summer 2020, proved extremely popular for its fresh cask ale and stone baked pizzas made onsite in the bars pizza oven.
However the onsite bar is just one of the standout attractions of the site, Cheviot Glamping is also home to Cheviot Alpacas who visitors can book special alpaca experiences to get up close and hands on with.
