Our onsite tap bar, Cheviot Tap, is THE place to enjoy Cheviot Brewery ale. Just a cask roll from the brew house, situated besides Slainsfield Wood, Cheviot Tap is the centre of our brewery tours and events. A perfect spot for a mid hike pint or for a relaxing weekend session or tasting.

The bar features 4 permanent cask lines and a well stocked and diverse beer fridge of Cheviot Brewery and other North Eastern beers and ales. Our bar isn’t just for ale drinkers, we stock quality wines, local spirits, soft drinks and tea and coffee.

From Friday 7th April Pizza Nights are back every Friday and Saturday serving wood fired pizzas cooked onsite from 5-8.

Whilst there is indoor seating there is plenty of covered and uncovered outdoor space to allow lots of people to enjoy the tap bar. The bar has a log burning fire indoors and outdoors it is equipped with with patio heaters, and a fire pit to keep you warm.

If you stay into the evening cosy up around the fire and toast marshmallows and make yourself some S’Mores.

Parking is available onsite and any designated drivers are welcome to free tea and coffee whilst onsite. We are children, dog, muddy boots, muddy hooves and muddy tyre friendly.

Our opening hours are:

Fridays – 12-10 / pizzas served 5-8

Saturdays -12-10 / pizzas served 5-8

Sundays – 12- 5 / drinks only
